Elementary

Lighthouse Christian Elementary School is a discipleship school, committed to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and vocational development of students. The purpose of the school is to provide a Biblically-integrated instructional program in a disciplined environment that encourages spiritual commitment and academic excellence. Biblical Integration: LCS firmly holds the integration of God’s word into daily teaching as a priority. The goal of Biblical integration is to help students to think biblically and critically, not only about every subject, but also about every aspect of their lives. When students truly understand something from a biblical perspective, they gain a greater understanding of the character of God, and have a greater understanding of God’s design. LCS students are encouraged to view a subject the way God does, and to see how this understanding impacts them personally in every area of their lives, as well as society at large. This daily integration, accompanied by daily prayer and devotions, and enriched with a weekly chapel service focusing on the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, make LCS truly a God-centered learning environment.

Extended Day

LCS offers a full extended day program from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, except most holidays.
We have various plans to fit your family needs.

Summer at LCS

We hold a Day Kamp summer program for children K3 through 5th grade. They enjoy extra curricular events such as the city pool, library, bowling, hop-2-it, and movie day. Summer at LCS: Where learning is an adventure! Solve your summer scheduling struggle, and give your child a memorable experience that includes adventures with friends and trusted teachers. Our imaginative and educational program will help improve your childs teamwork, health, fitness, goal setting, and more. The children will have so much fun; they will not know they are learning! At our summer program, children are in a safe environment they know and love, which makes learning more effective and fun.

LCS also holds summer school for students 1st grade through 11th grade that need extra focus on specific subject areas or credit recovery.

LCS is also a partner with the CSI Refugee center helping students new to America. These refugee children spend four weeks during the summer learning transition skills to help them be better equipped to further their education. Volunteers to help with this program are always needed.
